Stocks continued their bull market tear on Thursday, with the S&P 500 closing at a new record high of 5,029. But don’t expect the run to continue, says Lukasz Tomicki, founder of LRT Capital Management, a hedge fund managing $120 million in assets. “I think the market is pricing in perfection,” Tomicki told Business Insider. Another reason he’s bearish on the economy’s prospects is because the money supply is declining, meaning liquidity in the economy is shrinking. The cheaper end of the hotel industry is typically less volatile in an economic downturn, Tomicki said.

July 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. Powerball jackpot has reached a whopping $1 billion for only the third time in the game's history after another Monday night drawing produced no winning ticket. The Monday drawing was the 38th in a row without someone winning the top prize, which increases every time the jackpot goes unclaimed. The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292.2 million, according to the Powerball website. The last winning jackpot ticket was picked on April 19, for a grand prize of $252.6 million. The largest Powerball jackpot ever won was in November, when a California man drew the lucky numbers for $2.04 billion.

MPAs that already exist mostly occupy exclusive economic zones and only make up about 3% of the high seas. A 2016 Pew study on mapping governance in the high seas showed 19 governing bodies with a high seas mandate.
