Opozanţii, printre care liderii partidelor Armenia Prosperă, al Federaţiei revoluţionare armene Dachnaktsoutioun, al Partidului Republican şi al Partidului Patria, au fost arestaţi, potrivit Biroului de anchetă al Parchetului, pentru "organizarea ilegală a unor tulburări în masă violente", infracţiune pasibilă de 10 ani de închisoare. În noaptea de luni spre marţi, sediul guvernului şi al parlamentului au fost luate cu asalt şi parţial vandalizate. O manifestaţie fără încălcări grave a avut loc miercuri, iar o alta este prevăzută pentru joi după-amiaza. Circa 2.000 de soldaţi ruşi dintr-o forţă de menţinere a păcii sunt în curs de desfăşurare în regiune.

Semne diacriticeÎn aparență, Dodon a reacționat cu destulă stăpânire de sine la investigația Ziarului NAȚIONAL despre întâlnirea sa cu Plahotniuc, la hotelul Pomgranate, pe insula grecească Halkidiki, investigație devenită cvasivirală pe rețelele sociale. Important a fost efectul mediatic, faptul că Dodon „a rezolvat problema”. Fiindu-i imposibil să nege că actualul președinte a vizitat insula Hakidiki, nu a rămas decât să „demonstreze” că Plahotniuc nu a fost acolo. Oricum, efectul scontat a fost obținut.
