9 of the most stylish nepo babies
  + stars: | 2024-11-19 | by ( Mykenna Maniece | ) www.businessinsider.com   time to read: +1 min
AdvertisementNepo babies can have access to the hottest designers and archival pieces. BI spoke with fashion stylists to learn which of today's nepo babies have the best style. Lori Harvey was complimented for her ability to marry grunge and feminine elements in her looks. "But when you have rich, famous people's closets to raid, you're going to have better options than if not," fashion stylist Payton Dale told Business Insider. Though the lines of who counts as a nepo baby remain up for debate — nepo babies, short for nepotism babies, are usually thought of as successful individuals who benefit from their parents' or other relative's success in the same or similar industries — BI reached out to Dale, as well as fashion stylists Maiya Simone and Turner Allen, to learn which nepo babies have the best style.

This week, the numbers are screaming to go with Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, one of eight quarterbacks averaging more than 300 passing yards a game. This week, I’m riding with Sampson to lead all rushers in yards because he’s facing a Mississippi State defense that’s ranked 124th against the run. Dart’s 515 passing yards and six TDs last week against Arkansas, with a breakout performance from Jordan Watkins, provide more reason for me to stick with my midseason prediction. AdvertisementWeek 10 report cardAs mentioned before, my big victory last week was predicting Dart would lead all QBs in passing yards. I had Clemson covering a 10.5-point spread against Louisville with Cade Klubnik (250-plus passing yards, two TDs) and Phil Mafah (100-plus rushing yards, two TDs) doing work.

Finally, she relates her own experiences in low gravity in "Passengers," starring Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence, and Laurence Fishburne. 20 Years of Impossible Choices in ‘Saw’

It can be hard to remember two decades later that the original “Saw” was less interested in gore than morality. In “Saw,” Cary Elwes’s character verbalizes the tension and appeal of the franchise: “He doesn’t want us to cut through our chains. “I’m going to try something else you haven’t seen before.”The classic tropes within “Saw” — serial killers, haunted detectives, creepy puppets — are mashed together and inverted around the undeniable binary of its core choice. In “Cube” (1997), an offbeat Canadian science fiction horror film, prisoners in a mysterious jail travel through rooms rigged with traps. Wan never directed another “Saw” movie, while Whannell contributed to “Saw II” and wrote the screenplay for “Saw III.”In the decades since “Saw” was released, Wan has directed tentpole franchise entries like “Aquaman” (2018) and “Furious 7” (2015).

With Times film writers, filmmakers and stars weighing in, we ranked the 25 jump scares that still get us every time. Jump scares are considered the fart jokes of horror: cheap, easy and lowbrow. More ingenuity goes into certain jump scares than entire movies. Jump scares have an advantage online, where context shifts rapidly.

Andrew Garfield debuts an unusual red carpet accessory

CNN —Last night, British actor Andrew Garfield arrived at the London Film Festival premiere of his latest film “We Live in Time” sporting a surprising accessory. Wedged under his arm like a beloved clutch bag on a night out, Pugh’s rigid two-dimensional form topped off Garfield’s outfit perfectly. His black leather Valentino loafers matched his belt, but Garfield wasn’t complete without his 5 foot 4 inches of cardboard. At various points along the red carpet, he gleefully set Pugh down, posing with an arm wrapped around her inanimate waist. His custom Valentino outfit was somewhat overshadowed by his 5 foot 4 inch long cardboard cutout.

Other withdrawn lots include an ancestral skull from the Solomon Islands, another from the Fon tribe in Benin and a double ancestor skull from Congo. CNN has contacted The Swan auction house, the FNR and the Pitt Rivers Museum for comment. Museum staff removed human remains from its collection of more than 500,000 artifacts, following a three-year review of displays and programming “from an ethical perspective.”Overall, 120 objects containing human remains were removed from view, along with an additional 71 non-biological objects that were in the same displays, the museum told CNN at the time.

CNN —Police in Spain have arrested five people accused of scamming two women out of 325,000 euros ($362,000) by pretending to be Hollywood star Brad Pitt online. One woman lost 175,000 euros ($195,000) to the fraudsters, while another lost 150,000 euros ($167,000). Both victims were contacted via a Brad Pitt fan site by fraudsters who managed to convince them that the actor wanted to invest in various projects with them, police said. Investigators found that, as part of the scam, a network of bank accounts were created using fake identity documents. “Mules” were also used to help to launder money through their own bank accounts in exchange for a small payment.
