Read previewRussia and Ukraine have relied heavily on electronic warfare tactics throughout the conflict, leaning on cheap — but highly effective — technology to interfere with the targeting process of precision strike weapons like attack drones and guided munitions. With the battlefield full of such threats, especially the drones that threaten anything that moves, the need for electronic warfare systems is tremendous. "Different EW tools are needed to conduct strategic missions, but there is also a huge need for so-called 'close-range' EW," Fedorov said. Related storiesClose-range electronic-warfare systems would be particularly useful against enemy drones, specifically the small quadcopters that conduct reconnaissance and strike missions. "You can have the best drone, but what's the sense if it can't fly under electronic warfare?"

There are so many nutrients that our bodies need, so it's easy to miss out on getting enough of each one. Less than 10% of U.S. adults are getting the recommended daily intake of fiber, according to a study that was presented at Nutrition 2021 Live Online. Typically, American adults are only eating about 10 to 15 grams of total fiber a day, Harvard Health Publishing states. Fiber is something that we can easily take in every day," according to Dr. Kellyann Petrucci, a celebrity nutrition expert and New York Times best-selling author. Maurizio Cascella loved his rental apartment in Rome so much that he stayed there for nearly 20 years. When he and his partner, Lorena Munoz, had their first daughter, Olivia, now 3, he approached his landlord about buying the place. After a long search, he found “a compromise that satisfied me,” he said — a 19th-century apartment near the Roma Termini train station that had plenty of character, with ornate plaster molding and parquet floors. Gianni Franchellucci“The thing that struck me about the new place was the strong resemblance to the old house,” he noted.

The fourth race of the season is the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez on April 30.
A new study looks at the impact of rolling back prevailing wage laws on wages and workers. Prevailing wage laws set pay standards for government contract workers, particularly construction workers. Researchers Frank Manzo, Robert Bruno, and Larissa Petrucci examine the impact of repealing prevailing wage laws — laws that essentially set minimum wages for construction workers on government contracts. Historically, prevailing wage laws have helped plug labor shortages, and contractors could have trouble competing with higher-paying competitors across the country. Indiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, Wisconsin, and Michigan all repealed their prevailing wage laws between 2015 and 2018.
