Newly released video shows a woman who snuck onto a flight from New York to Paris last week being removed from a returning flight back to the United States after she started screaming. Gary Treichler was on Flight 265 from Paris to New York on Saturday with his family and said the woman started getting louder and louder. After about 20 minutes, the woman started to calm down, according to Treichler. She was removed from the plane by law enforcement when it landed in Paris. TSA will meet the woman at John F. Kennedy International Airport when she returns to the U.S.

Paris CNN —Delta Air Lines has refused to transport the Russian woman who stowed away on a flight to Paris from New York last week, a Paris airport official has told CNN. The stowaway who boarded a flight in New York and made it all the way to Paris on Tuesday was removed from her return flight to the U.S. after she caused a disturbance, a source said Sunday. A source with knowledge of the situation said the woman "created a disturbance" as the Delta flight was set to return to New York. Delta confirmed there was a delay on Flight 265 from Paris to New York on Saturday due to an unruly passenger. She completed a full security screening before she boarded Delta Flight 264 from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport on Tuesday. Law enforcement officers removed her from the plane when it landed in Paris, a source with knowledge of the incident said Wednesday.

Paris CNN —Belgium has withdrawn from the mixed relay triathlon race on Monday and Switzerland has had to mix up its roster after athletes from both countries fell ill following the initial triathlon races last week. The statement did not specify Michel’s illness, which was reported days after she swam in the River Seine during the women’s triathlon on Wednesday. “Claire Michel, a member of the relay, is unfortunately ill and must withdraw from the competition.”Michel finished 38th in the women’s triathlon competition on Wednesday. Swiss Olympic Chief Medical Officer Hanspeter Betschart noted that it is unclear if Briffod’s infection is related to the Seine’s water quality. The athletes had largely put their trust in organizers to ensure that the water quality was safe for them.
