But predicting the outcome of France's final vote on July 7 is less clear-cut, given the complexity of France's voting system. With that in mind, analysts see a 30% to 40% chance of the National Rally winning the 289 seats needed to secure an absolute majority in the 577-seat National Assembly. CNN —Astronomers have uncovered additional evidence that one of Saturn’s smallest moons, Mimas, is hiding a global ocean beneath its icy surface. Discovered in 1789 by English astronomer William Herschel as a tiny dot near Saturn, Mimas was first imaged from space by the Voyager probes in 1980. Craters cover the surface of Mimas, but the largest one is 80 miles (about 130 kilometers) across and causes the moon to resemble the Death Star from the “Star Wars” films. But Saturn’s Enceladus appears younger because active geysers have contributed to resurfacing, or depositing of new, fresh material on that moon’s surface. “Mimas certainly demonstrates that moons with old surfaces can be hiding young oceans, which is pretty exciting,” Rhoden said.

Sept 26 (Reuters) - The 2024 Diamond League will begin its 15-stop season with two meets in China, in Xiamen and Shanghai, in April while Brussels will stage the two-day season finale in September, organisers said on Monday. Last year's Diamond League was also scheduled to have 15 meets but the Shanghai stop was cancelled after COVID-19 restrictions caused delays in the renovation of the venue. Xiamen will host the opening event on April 20, a week before Shanghai returns to the calendar for the first time since 2019. Paris, Monaco and London will host meetings in July before the Paris Games begin later that month. Brussels will host the final for the first time since 2019 and 11th time overall when it stages the meet from Sept. 13-14.

Pentru următoare 24 de ore, se anunță ploi în nordul şi centrul ţării. Şi în Capitală va ploua. Ziua vor fi între 23 şi 26 de grade, iar noaptea cel mult 15. În următoarele 24 de ore, în cea mai mare parte a Europei cerul va fi înnorat, iar pe alocuri va ploua. La Atena se aşteaptă 25 de grade, la Kiev 24, iar la Moscova va ploua şi se anunță 25 de grade.

În urmă cu mai bine de un an, la 9 decembrie 2019, cei trei preşedinţi şi cancelarul german Angela Merkel s-au întâlnit la Paris - prima întâlnire între Putin şi Zelenski -, cu scopul de a relansa procesul de pace în Ucraina. Ei şi-au constatat dezacordurile atunci, dar şi-au afirmatvoinţa de a le depăşi, scrie News.ro. Războiul din Ucraina s-a soldat cu peste 13.000 de morţi şi aproape 1,5 milioane de deplasaţi. Kremlinul a anunţat într-un comunicat că cei doi lideri au discutat despre situaţia din Donbas, dar şi despre Nagorno Karabah, Acordul de la Viena din 2015 în dosarul nuclear iranian, Siria şi Libia. Macron a discutat cu Zelenski despre o ”posibilă coordonare a accesului la vaccin (împotriva covid-19) în cadrul iniţiativei ACT-A” - un dispozitiv al Organizaţiei Mondiale a Sănătăţii (OMS) care garantează că ţările bogate nu vor monopoliza tratamentele, testele şi vaccnurile împotriva noului coronavirus.
