Broadway actor Quentin Lee passed away from colon cancer on Tuesday morning. Lee is most known for his portrayal of the phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. "The Phantom family is saddened to hear of the passing of Quentin Oliver Lee," the broadway production captioned a picture of Lee on Instagram. Lee announced that he had stage 4 colon cancer on his Instagram account in June. In addition to his wife, Lee is survived by his daughter, Samantha.
New York CNN —Broadway actor Quentin Oliver Lee has died at age 34, according to an online announcement from his wife. The post comes six months after Lee said he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. In an Instagram post on Friday announcing her husband’s death, Lee’s wife, Angie, said, “Quentin passed in the wee hours of the morning. It was peaceful, and perfect.”Lee’s wife did not specify his cause of death in the announcement. Quentin brilliantly lead our North American tour in 2018.
