Proiectul de raportare a criminalităţii organizate şi corupţiei, fondat în 2006, a decis săptămâna aceasta ca titulatura să îi revină liderului populist. Într-un an în care concurenţa a fost una „istorică”, un juriu independent l-a ales pe Jair Bolsonaro. Până la finalul lui 2020, anchetele publicate de OCCRP au contribuit la returnarea a peste 7,3 miliarde de dolari, fonduri obţinute ilicit. În 2019, titlul de „Personalitatea anului în Crimă Organizată şi Corupţie” a fost obţinut de prim-ministrul maltez Joseph Muscat. OCCRP este o reţea de centre de investigaţii, mass-media şi jurnalişti care operează în Europa de Est, Caucaz, Asia Centrală şi America Centrală.

Cine vine la Forumul Mass-Media 2020? Forumul Mass-Media se desfășoară anual sub egida Consiliului de Presă și este finanțat de Fundația Soros-Moldova și alți donatori. Roman Anin este un cunoscut și apreciat jurnalist de investigație care scrie despre corupția la nivel înalt din Federația Rusă. Roman Anin s-a născut în Republica Moldova, iar în 2004 a plecat cu familia în Rusia. Înregistrarea prealabilă obligatorie la Forumul Mass-Media 2020 are loc pe pagina web www.mediaforum.md/event/2020 și este deschisă până la 16 noiembrie 2020 inclusiv.

Как сообщает Deutsche Welle, по результатам следствия были конфискованы четыре здания в Германии, а также деньги в ФРГ и Латвии. Мюнхенские правоохранительные органы ведут расследование в отношении трех обвиняемых, которые владеют в федеральных землях Бавария и Гессен недвижимостью на 40 миллионов евро. Гражданство, пол и возраст подозреваемых, а также другие детали дела не называются, поскольку следствие еще ведется, заявила представительница прокуратуры. Кроме того, следователи изъяли 6,7 миллиона евро в двух немецких агентствах недвижимости и еще 1,2 миллиона евро на счету в одном из банков Латвии. О мошеннической схеме "Ландромат" стало известно в 2014 году по результатам расследования Центра исследования коррупции и организованной преступности (OCCRP).
