CNN —One of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ biggest critics has announced he has a docuseries coming about the embroiled producer’s legal issues. Rapper and actor 50 Cent shared on social media Wednesday a Variety report that states his project about Combs has found a home at Netflix. “I been telling y’all about all this weird s**t, I don’t do NO puffy party’s,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption. 50 Cent has also said he believes Combs is connected to the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. CNN has reached out to representatives for both 50 Cent and Netflix for comment.

Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York accuse Combs of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution in the indictment unsealed Tuesday. “A year ago Sean Combs stood in Times Square and was handed a key to New York City,” he said. The sex trafficking count mentions “Victim-1,” whose interactions with Combs as described in the indictment mirror those described in Ventura’s lawsuit. According to the indictment, Combs attempted to bribe a member of the hotel security staff who had intervened. Since Ventura’s lawsuit, several others have accused Combs in separate lawsuits of sexual assault or sexual misconduct.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A former Los Angeles-area gang leader jailed in Las Vegas in the 1996 killing of hip-hop music icon Tupac Shakur has hired a private attorney to represent him ahead of his murder trial scheduled this summer. The other, in 2021, was for failing to represent a defendant in Las Vegas Justice Court. Knight is serving 28 years in a California prison for an unrelated fatal shooting in the Los Angeles area in 2015. Ventura, now 37 herself, said Combs, now 54, began the pattern of abuse began as soon as their relationship did. LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Southern California street gang leader charged in the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur in 1996 in Las Vegas will make a court appearance Thursday with a lawyer from one of the city's best-known political families, one that has represented mobsters, athletes and other famous clients. Attorney Ross Goodman told The Associated Press Wednesday he'll appear in Duane “Keffe D” Davis' defense against accusations that Davis orchestrated the drive-by killing of the rap music icon. Davis won't immediately enter a plea, Goodman said, he'll seek another two weeks to confirm that he'll be hired for Davis' case. Goodman is a son of former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and current Mayor Carolyn Goodman. In July, a police raid at Davis' home drew renewed interest to Shakur's unsolved murder, one of hip-hop music’s enduring mysteries.

The start of hip-hop dates to Aug. 11, 1973, when DJ Kool Herc created continuous break-beats by working two turntables during a party in a rec room at 1520 Sedgwick Ave in the Bronx. On Friday night, exactly 50 years later, a concert was held at Yankee Stadium — roughly a mile and a half from hip-hop’s birthplace — to honor the occasion, featuring Run-DMC, Slick Rick, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Lil’ Kim and Nas. DJ Kool Herc, 68, also appeared onstage to accept an award. “I prefer old-school hip-hop,” Hetep said.
