I became an NFL cheerleader when I was 29 — 10 years after I stopped dancing. Dre DiLorenzoMy mom signed me up for dance when I was 3 years old, and I started competing at 6. I'm very fortunate that ballet is the foundation of all dance styles, but classic technique is very, very different from dance team and cheer style.
