Florida had the biggest net gain of high-earning households, according to a recent SmartAsset study . Using $200,000 of adjusted gross income as a threshold, the study examined the number of high-income households moving into and out of each state to determine the net inflow. More high-income households have left California and New York than moved in, but some states saw the opposite. "I would say that's a little unique, that these smaller-population states are really pulling their weight in attracting or pulling above their weight in attracting high-earning households," DeJohn says. Here are the states that saw the biggest net inflow of high-earning households:

The president will seek to repeat 2020 victories in two hotly contested states, Arizona and Georgia, Biden campaign manager Julie Rodriguez said in a memo released to news media. The Republican campaign, on the other hand, is gathering steam with Trump leading a crowded field. Rodriguez said the Biden campaign will make early investments in closely fought states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin as well as in Nevada and New Hampshire. WASHINGTON—Democrats moved Friday toward the most significant changes in their presidential nominating process in nearly two decades after a key committee backed a plan put forward by President Biden to allow South Carolina to host the first 2024 primary, followed by Nevada and New Hampshire on the same day, Georgia and then Michigan. The change would dramatically decrease the influence of Iowa, which has hosted the first nominating contest for five decades, while elevating the role of several states that are typically battlegrounds in general elections. It would also reduce the importance of New Hampshire, the traditional host of the nation’s first presidential primary.
