7 Georgia appeared to be headed to an upset loss against Georgia Tech on Friday night, but the Bulldogs rallied several times to pull out a 44-42 win in eight overtimes.
Georgia Tech dominated the first half and led 17-0 at the break.
That led to a wild finish with Georgia pulling even with 1:05 to play in regulation, and the game went to overtime.
Both teams scored touchdowns in the first OT and again in the second OT but missed the two-point try in the second overtime.
After the second overtime, the teams went to two-point tries and remained tied through the seventh overtime.
