An FBI agent was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault two years after he was acquitted of attempted murder. Two women allege they were raped inside a tattoo studio, and police say Valdivia may be have additional victims. The woman returned for a second shoot at a nearby hotel and was again sexually assaulted by Valdivia, police said. The FBI Washington Field Office s noaid in a statement the agency is cooperating with Montgomery police in their investigation of Valdivia. Valdivia told the man, “Watch your mouth,” and the man turned around and approached Valdivia, who told him to back up multiple times prior to the shooting.

CNN —An FBI special agent who was acquitted of attempted murder in a DC Metro shooting has been charged with raping and assaulting two women in Maryland, police said Monday. Eduardo Valdivia, 40, has been suspended from the FBI pending a police investigation, a spokesperson for the bureau’s Washington field office told CNN. “The FBI takes allegations of criminal violations and misconduct very seriously,” the field office said in a statement. Bonsib confirmed to the Associated Press that his client was arrested Monday on sexual assault charges. Valdivia is set to appear in Montgomery District Court on Tuesday for a bail hearing, according to court records.

An apartment unit resident likely caused an explosion and fire that injured 14 people and brought down part of a Maryland apartment building as he took his own life, authorities said Friday. His manner of death was suicide, police Chief Marcus G. Jones said at a news conference Friday. “He made statements that were indicative of intentions of suicide,” Jones said, basing the finding on witnesses who knew the resident.
