Allen’s contradictory statements were in the spotlight during the second week of his trial in a Carroll County courtroom.
In the interview, Allen — then a CVS clerk — provided an account of what he’d done that Feb. 13.
Once at Westville Correctional Facility, Allen told prison officials and officers — including the warden — that he killed the girls, prosecutors have said.
A week later, Wala said, Allen told her he wanted to sign a confession, prompting the psychologist to tell him to speak with his attorneys.
A day later, on May 10, Allen called his wife with the psychologist present and told her that he’d killed the girls, Wala testified.
