Showing off his injuries on camera, Leno revealed that he broke his wrist, lost a fingernail and is “all black and blue” – on the left-hand side of his body, as well as his face. A Wyoming judge ruled Monday that two laws restricting and banning abortion in the state violate its constitution, making the procedure legal up until fetal viability for the time being. Teton County District Judge Melissa Owens imposed an injunction on the pair of state laws in a ruling that said they ran afoul of the state constitution, which says every person has a right to personal autonomy in making medical decisions. The statutes were therefore “facially unconstitutional,” Owens wrote, as they placed “unreasonable and unnecessary restrictions” on pregnant women’s rights to make their own health care decisions. Owens has blocked the state's abortion laws three times now. One of the plaintiffs in the current suit, Wellspring Health Access, opened as Wyoming’s only full-service abortion clinic last year.

CNN —The Kansas City-area homes of Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were burglarized last month, according to multiple local news outlets citing authorities. Deputies responded to the first reported burglary shortly after midnight on October 6 at a home in Loch Lloyd, Missouri, a criminal report from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office states. That home belongs to Mahomes, the Chiefs’ quarterback, CNN affiliates KCTV and KSHB reported. There was no forced entry and “deputies completed an investigation and a report was taken,” according to the criminal report. Five new arrests have been made over the violence surrounding a soccer game last week involving an Israeli team, Dutch police said Monday. The five men are "suspected of public acts of violence against persons Thursday night," police in the Dutch capital Amsterdam said Monday. The violence has been condemned as targeted antisemitic attacks by authorities in Israel and the Netherlands, which authorities said saw small groups on foot and scooters commit hit-and-run assaults on Israeli fans. Another video verified by NBC News showed a brawl break out outside Amsterdam Central Station after the game, in what the photographer described as an attack by Israeli fans on local residents. Israel sent extra planes to bring the soccer fans home from Amsterdam, and has told Israeli fans not to attend cultural or sports events abroad this week.

CNN —The Cleveland Cavaliers became just the eighth team in NBA history to start a season 12-0 after earning a hard fought 119-113 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. The Bulls managed to tie the scores at 106-106, but Cleveland outscored its opponent down the stretch to cement its place in an exclusive NBA group. It’s the best start to an NBA season since the record-breaking 2015-16 Golden State Warriors, who set league records with a 24-0 start and a 73-9 campaign. Five of the last seven teams to start the season 12-0 have gone on to reach the NBA Finals, according to ESPN. The Cavaliers’ 9-0 start to the season was already the best in franchise history.
