☆ Cramer's week ahead: Earnings from Boeing, Tesla, IBM and T-Mobile

With Wall Street rolling into the thick of earnings season, CNBC's Jim Cramer on Friday told investors what market-moving action to keep an eye on next week, including reports from Boeing , Tesla , IBM and T-Mobile . On Tuesday, a slew of big names will report, including General Motors , Danaher , RTX and GE Aerospace . Cramer said the automaker could be a bargain, even as many on Wall Street are pessimistic about its earnings. IBM , Tesla , Lam Research and T-Mobile will report after close. Friday brings earnings from Colgate-Palmolive , and Cramer said he thinks Wall Street will love the stock but that such fondness is "way overdone."

The Invesco S & P 500 Low Volatility ETF (SPLV) has advanced close to 13% in 2024, while the Nasdaq Composite is up 13.8%. SPLV follows the S & P 500 Low Volatility Index, which is based on 100 stocks within the broad market index with the lowest realized volatility over the past 12 months. SPLV YTD mountain Invesco's S & P 500 Low Volatility ETF (SPLV). On Tuesday, the S & P 500, Nasdaq and Dow Jones Industrial Average posted their worst session since the early-August slide as a batch of weak manufacturing data spurred investors' worries over the economy. Elsewhere, the ‎CBOE Volatility Index has ticked up above 20 since September has started, and it surged over 65 during the early-August rout, which was its highest level since 2020.

☆ Humane, the startup behind the AI Pin, in talks with HP, telecoms to sell

Humane, the AI hardware startup founded by ex-Apple designers, is seeking a buyer after its AI Pin's lukewarm debut, according to a source familiar with the matter. The company is currently in talks with HP and other firms, including more than one telecom company, the source told CNBC. Humane has hired investment bank Tidal Partners to advise on a potential deal, the source said. The AI Pin costs $699 and requires a $24 monthly data subscription to T-Mobile . But when Humane sent the AI Pin to gadget reviewers in April, it was met with a tepid reception, with many calling it untrustworthy and not very useful.
