Liam Payne's One Direction bandmates are "completely devastated" by his death, they said in a statement on the boy band's Instagram account Thursday, one day after Payne's death at an Argentina hotel. Sistema de Atencion Medica de Emergencia (SAME), the emergency health service, said that Payne fell from the balcony in Palermo. Police were called to the hotel for reports of an aggressive man, according to the emergency services agency, which later confirmed Payne's death. The office added that the autopsy findings indicate Payne "could have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness." A number of substances were found in Payne's hotel room, the prosecutor's office said in a statement, which would prove alcohol and drug consumption.

The Juggernaut spokesperson told BI that "multiple employees have equity in the company," but BI was unable to identify any such employees. As of January, the site had about 10,500 subscribers, Sur told investors in an email viewed by BI. Since Sterling's death, Bolno has appeared to try to distance himself from the tragedy. NEW YORK, June 7 (Reuters) - Hotel room rates in the U.S. and Europe are rising and may get even more expensive as supply has failed to keep up with demand, industry executives said. The number of U.S. hotel rooms increased about 3% in April of 2023 from the same month in 2019. Some 153,000 hotel rooms were under construction in April of 2023, down from a peak of 220,000 in the same month in 2020, according to hotel analytics firm STR. U.S. hotel rates in May averaged $157.45 a night, up 17% from the same month in 2019. "For the past 20 years hotel operators were not daring enough to restate the prices of hotel rooms," he said.

MELBOURNE, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Oil prices slipped in early trade on Friday but were on track for gains of more than 6% for the week on solid signs of demand growth in top crude oil importer China and expectations of less aggressive interest rate hikes in the United States. Brent crude futures fell 17 cents, or 0.2%, to $83.86 a barrel by 0119 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures slipped 12 cents, or 0.2%, to $78.27. Brent has jumped 6.7% so far this week and WTI is up 6.2%, recouping most of the previous week's losses. "China's road traffic levels are continuing to rebound from record low levels following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions," the ANZ analysts said in a note. A weaker greenback tends to boost demand for oil as it makes the commodity cheaper for buyers holding other currencies.

Then there’s Eve Hewson, daughter of Bono, who claimed that the Vulture team behind the “nepo baby” piece was “jealous” and called out the editor-in-chief for her own familial privilege. But one self-described “nepo baby” has finally cracked the code of how to defuse these attacks: by owning the title, not shying away from it. shutting out countless talented newcomers who might have more talent than a “nepo baby” but lack a famous name or face and thus are denied opportunities — would be a major mistake. More “nepo babies” could take a page out of Williams’ book and recognize this duality. Hollywood isn’t an equal playing field, and any “nepo baby” who pretends like it is is not only ignoring reality, but doing a disservice to their own reputation.
HOUSTON, Dec 9 (Reuters) - An outage on the largest oil pipeline to the United States from Canada could affect inventories at a key U.S. storage hub and cut crude supplies to two oil refining centers, analysts and traders said on Friday. TC Energy's (TRP.TO) Keystone pipeline ferries about 600,000 barrels of Canadian crude per day (bpd) to the United States. Other pipelines between Canada and the United States are at or near capacity, East Daley and data analytics firm Wood Mackenzie estimates. Gulf Coast refiners, which could suffer shortages of heavy Canadian crude, can draw on supplies from offshore Louisiana facilities and from Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador. U.S. physical crude oil grade prices were mixed on Thursday and O'Donnell at East Daley said he expects volatility to continue as long as Keystone remained offline.

After “The Green Hornet” was canceled, Bruce Lee struggled to find work in Hollywood and returned to Hong Kong to pursue a film career.

More than any of his predecessors, President Joe Biden has aggressively leaned on this emergency oil stockpile to knock down the high pump prices that voters despise. That has left this emergency oil stockpile at its lowest point since June 1984 — a time when both the US economy and energy demand was significantly smaller than today. The SPR headlines are rattling an energy market already on edge over a potential recession. US oil prices dropped 3% to $82.82 on Tuesday, returning to levels last seen before rumors swirled regarding OPEC+’s controversial production cuts. They’ve done a tremendous job achieving their goal of trying to get energy prices lower,” said Michael Tran, managing director of global energy strategy at RBC Capital Markets.
Oil could fall to $60 a barrel next year in the most bearish scenario, according to RBC. Sticky inflation and a Federal Reserve policy mistake could both slash crude prices, the bank said. Falling oil prices could also provide relief for Americans at the pump. RBC laid out two other economic scenarios that could impact oil prices next year.
