New York state Justice Arthur Engoron already has faced off with Trump on the issue. Trump has cast doubt on Chutkan's ability to give him a fair trial and called her "highly partisan." Ahead of his civil fraud trial, Trump, without providing evidence, accused the U.S. Justice Department of coordinating with New York state Attorney General Letitia James to damage his presidential campaign. One notable exception to Trump's criticism is the judge presiding over the classified documents criminal case in Florida.
