Chants of “Free, Free Palestine” echoed through Times Square in Midtown Manhattan on Friday as Palestinian supporters, waving signs and green, red, black and white flags, filled three blocks along Broadway near 42nd Street. “I support a free Palestine, but I don’t condone the attacks from Hamas, no way,” said Marcelo Taboada, who is from Buenos Aires and attended the pro-Palestinian rally. “Nobody who defends the Palestinian cause seriously could support what Hamas did.”
