Generations of soccer fans across the world have cherished their sticker collections, but until now only international tournaments in women's football have been celebrated by Panini. However, a licensing partnership with the FA means a new collection of nearly 350 stickers will be available, including the sought-after shinies. "We are thrilled to announce our relationship with Panini, a brand that is synonymous with football worldwide," said Sue Campbell, the FA's Director of Women's Football. The WSL enjoyed a 170% rise in attendances last season and the trend is predicted to continue.

CNN —The Women’s World Cup enters its fourth day of fixtures with some of the tournament heavyweights kicking off their campaigns. Sweden takes on South Africa, Women’s World Cup debutant Portugal faces the Netherlands and France plays Jamaica in an action-packed day. In the 2019 Women’s World Cup, Sweden finished third after an impressive tournament, defeating England in the third-place playoff. Banyana Banyana made its Women’s World Cup debut in 2019, losing all three of its group stage games, but will be buoyed by its form since. Fast-forward to the upcoming Women’s World Cup, which starts on July 20 in Australia and New Zealand, and a host of the game’s best players will also be absent because of an injury which appears to be endemic in the women’s game. But why are so many female soccer players suffering from the same injury? “At elite clubs in the men’s game, players have access to exceptional academies and training facilities from a very young age. Beth Mead starred for England in its Euro 2022 victory but will be missing the Women's World Cup. According to the findings, 34% of women players reported discomfort specifically in their heel and the majority use specialized insoles.
