CNN —A 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Streamliner valued between $50-70 million is among the historic cars set to be sold by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. “These vehicles will be some of the world’s most significant cars ever sold,” Gord Duff, global head of auctions at RM Sotheby’s, said in the statement. The cars will be sold at different events late this year and in 2025, according to the statement. In 2022, a very rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz SLR coupe that had been kept in the German automaker’s collection was sold to a private buyer for €135 million ($142 million at the time). “The Ferrari 250 GTO is the motoring market’s equivalent of Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’ and a talisman for any top-end collection,” he said.

In Germany, the trend towards tiny houses is associated with financial risks due to the peculiarities of German law. And it seems that Americans are also thrilled about the hardware store house. Excessive regulations and requirements hinder tiny houses in GermanyNevertheless, the demand for tiny houses is also growing in Germany. "It is easier to build your tiny house according to the individual building regulations of the selected property than to first build the tiny house and then look for a plot of land," explains the German Tiny House Association. Furthermore, it is often generally expensive to find a suitable place for one's own tiny house.

German company Sono Motors , Southern California-based Aptera Motors, and Dutch company Lightyear are all producing electric vehicles with integrated solar panels, which can harness the sun's power to provide around 15-45 additional miles on a clear day. This is roughly 15 miles a day, which is perfect for commuters," said Sono Motors co-CEO and co-founder Laurin Hahn. Production of Aptera Motors' solar electric two-seater vehicle is set to begin next year in Carlsbad, California. Its lithium-ion battery gets 390 miles per charge, with an average of 20 or so additional miles from solar, up to nearly 45 miles.
Arizona Chairwoman Kelli Ward speaks during the Rally To Protect Our Elections conference on July 24, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a request by Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward to block her phone records from being subpoenaed by the select House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The denial sets the stage for the Democratic-controlled House committee to obtain those records from her T-Mobile account. The order rejecting Ward's and her husband Michaels' request for an emergency injunction notes that Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito would have granted it. Laurin Mills, a lawyer for Kelli Ward, when asked by CNBC for comment on Monday's ruling, wrote, "It is my personal practice not to comment on pending litigation."
Germany company Sono Motors says it will bring a solar-powered electric vehicle to market in Europe in mid-2023. Sono has brought the car, called the Sion, on a tour throughout the U.S., in anticipation of its eventual domestic release. For longer trips though, the Sion has a lithium iron phosphate battery with a 190-mile range, made by Chinese electric vehicle and battery giant BYD. Sono uses a polymer-based solar technology that it developed. While there are no mass-market solar electric vehicles available today, Hahn believes this technology will take off soon.
