Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's new golf league, TGL, is getting some fresh star power representing the Big Apple. Cohen Private Ventures, the family office of Steve Cohen, announced on Thursday that Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, CC Sabathia, Michael Strahan, John McEnroe and Jimmy Fallon are joining the New York Golf Club's investor group as limited partners. Cohen, who also owns Major League Baseball's New York Mets, acquired the rights to the New York Golf team last September. TGL is the new primetime, high-tech golf league launched by Woods, McIlroy and Golf Channel executive Mike McCarley. Former New York Yankees star Jeter told CNBC he was drawn to the investment opportunity because it combines his passion for golf and his love of New York.

CNN —A stained-glass Tiffany window originally designed for an Ohio church has sold for $12.48 million at auction. This is the first time the window has come to auction in 24 years and the sale sets a new auction record for Tiffany Studios. It sold for $2 million back in 2000, which was a world record for a Tiffany window at that time. That was the “thematic precursor” for the Danner Memorial Window 10 years later, Sotheby’s said in a press statement. The museum acquired Garden Landscape, designed in 1912, a three-part window designed by Northrop, last year.

As an isolationist, Trump-led American foreign policy cedes global leadership on the issue, an increasingly willing China can assume the spot instead. Ceding global climate leadership to China "would be a mistake"China is looking to "play a more proactive role internationally on climate change," said Joanna Lewis, an associate professor at Georgetown University and expert in international climate policy. But "it would be a mistake for the United States to completely cede not just [its] leadership role on climate change.
