CNN —British police have found human remains in a west London apartment which they believe are connected to body parts found earlier this week in another city, officers said Friday. Authorities are now on the hunt for a Colombian man thought to be linked to the case. Officers said their priority is to find Yostin Andres Mosquera, a 24-year-old Colombian national, naming him for the first time. They released a photo of Mosquera clad in a black Adidas baseball cap, black jeans, a black jacket, black trainers with thick white soles, with a black backpack. Kyle Clifford, 26, was found by officers in Enfield, north London, on Wednesday following an extensive manhunt, and arrested on Thursday in connection with the killing.

London CNN —Figures from across the sporting world have offered their condolences to a BBC sport commentator, after his wife and two daughters were killed by an alleged crossbow attacker, in deaths that again drew attention to the epidemic of violence against women. Carol Hunt, 61, wife of BBC horse racing commentator, John Hunt, and their daughters, Hannah Hunt, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25, died from injuries sustained in an attack in Bushey, just northwest of London, on Tuesday, according to police and Britain’s public broadcaster. BBC Sport presenter Mark Chapman said: “John Hunt is our colleague, and our friend, not just to the current 5 Live Sport team, but to all of those who have worked here with him over the past 20 years. Truly horrific.”The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) said in a statement that its thoughts are with Hunt, his family, and friends. Ascot Racecourse, one of Britain’s most famous horse-racing grounds, said that it echoed the BHA’s words and posted that “our thoughts are with John Hunt at this tragic time.”

The authorities in England were hunting on Wednesday for a man who was suspected of killing three women the previous night with a crossbow and possibly other weapons in a small, leafy town north of London, according to Hertfordshire Police. The police said they arrived at the scene just before 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday and found three women with serious injuries. The BBC reported that the victims were the wife and two daughters of one of its horse-racing commentators. “As we’ve just reported, the three women killed in a crossbow attack in Bushey, near Watford, are Carol Hunt, the wife of the BBC commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters,” the broadcaster wrote. The police were searching for Kyle Clifford, 26, they said, warning people that “he may be in possession of a crossbow, do not approach.” It was not immediately clear on Wednesday what the relation was between Mr. Clifford and the three women.

CNN —A manhunt is underway in north London for a man suspected of being armed with a crossbow, after three women were killed Tuesday evening. Police said they were searching for a 26-year-old man, named as Kyle Clifford, in connection with the deaths, who could be in north London or the neighboring county of Hertfordshire. Police were called to a house in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday evening, where they found three seriously injured women. All the women, who are believed to be related, later died from their injuries, according to police. British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has said she is being kept “fully updated” by police on the ongoing manhunt.
