Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri confirmed in a recent interview with Platformer that a lot of the platform's users were "coming over from Instagram." However, Instagram still reminds Threads users who dropped off to keep using the platform, like Kristin Bousquet, a creator who has 5,412 followers on Threads. "Just having the ability to go to someone's Instagram account from Threads, and vice versa, keeps it top of mind," he said.
