In a Truth Social post, Trump rejected any notion that he wasn't eating after leaving the White House. Trump in the post said he was "angry" and was actually "eating too much" at the time. "They're really worried," McCarthy told Cheney, who at the time was the chair of the House Republican Conference. "Yeah, he's really depressed," McCarthy added, according to the book.

Last month, 85,000 Kaiser Permanente employees launched a strike authorization vote. The Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions represents workers in 95% of these facilities, meaning more than 11 million people who rely on Kaiser Permanente could be affected. If they fail and the workers walkout, it would be the largest healthcare strike in US history. Kaiser Permanente healthcare employees in the Coalition in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado have also voted to authorize the strike. This means the overwhelming majority of unionized Kaiser Permanente healthcare employees will strike, even as voting continues in three more states and Washington, DC.

A Texas education official partnered with PragerU to announce its programming is coming to Texas. PragerU posted a video to its website Tuesday declaring that "PragerU Kids is Now in Texas!" In the video, Texas State Board of Education member Julie Pickren tells PragerU CEO Marissa Streit that, "We are definitely ready to welcome PragerU into the great state of Texas." A blurb beside the video also claims that "PragerU is an approved education vendor in the state of Texas." Solar technology company First Solar has seen its shares skyrocket in the new year — and some think this is only the beginning. UBS analyst Jon Windham, who rates the stock as a buy, has a near-Street-high price target of $250 per share. Young has a buy rating on the stock and a price target of $210 per share.
