I dreamed of overwater bungalows in places like the Maldives but dreaded the long flight there. And I believed the best place to create that experience would be in an overwater bungalow — the epitome of a luxury tropical vacation. The Fidelity Puritan Fund has dominated in the past five years under Dan Kelley. Here's how the portfolio manager finds underpriced growth stocks that are still high quality. Meanwhile, about half of the fund's bonds are US Treasuries, and just 11.5% are high-yield. How to find mispriced growth in marketsWhen looking for stocks, Kelley said his focus is on finding "mispriced growth" companies, which is similar to what many fund managers call "growth at a reasonable price," or GARP. That's the same mindset that's kept the Fidelity Puritan Fund going for nearly eight decades.

REUTERS/Rick Wilking/File PhotoCompanies The United States Department Of Justice FollowApril 5 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice reached a $144.5 million settlement with survivors and families of victims of the 2017 mass shooting at a Texas church that killed 26 people, for which a judge had found the Air Force primarily responsible. Wednesday's settlement with more than 75 plaintiffs requires approval by U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez in San Antonio. It would end the government's appeal of Rodriguez's order that it pay approximately $230 million over the Nov. 5, 2017 massacre by former Air Force airman Devin Patrick Kelley at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. "No words or amount of money can diminish the immense tragedy of the mass shooting in Sutherland Springs," Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta said in a statement.
A Texas woman who was reported missing this month and whose empty car was later found in a remote area has been found dead, officials said Thursday. Friends of Kelley reported her missing on Jan. 11 after not having heard from her for several days, the sheriff's office has said. The sheriff’s office has said Ferguson is also known as Kevin Brown, and online jail records list Ferguson as being married. The sheriff's office said the case was an ongoing homicide investigation. On Thursday, the Tarrant County medical examiner's office positively identified the remains found in Grand Prairie, the sheriff's office said.

NBC DFWFriends reported Kayla Kelley, 33, missing on Jan. 11 after not hearing from her for several days. Her car was subsequently found "in a remote area of Frisco," a city about 30 miles north of Dallas, the Collin County Sheriff's Office said. The Collin County Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's Office could not immediately be reached. A local nonprofit, Search One Rescue Team, which helps law enforcement with lost and missing cases, told NBC affiliate KXAS of Dallas that the sheriff's office and the Texas Rangers enlisted their help in the search Friday and Monday, respectively.
Missouri Democrats tore into their Republican colleagues over changes to the state House dress code. Republicans passed a rule requiring female lawmakers to cover their arms in the chamber. Proudie was speaking out against Republican state Rep. Ann Kelley's push to amend the House's formal rules by requiring women to wear a blazer while in the chamber. "It is absolutely ridiculous that we have to talk about it on the House floor in the House chamber. Like most statehouse chambers, the Missouri House must pass new rules once it convenes the General Assembly every two years.
Dec 16 (Reuters) - A defendant charged in connection with the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol has been indicted on charges of conspiring with a second man to kill the FBI agents investigating him, the Department of Justice said on Friday. "Today's allegations that individuals sought to attack and hurt or kill FBI personnel are sickening. Prosecutors say Kelley and Carter obtained a list of federal agents taking part in the investigation into Kelley and discussed plans to kill them with a cooperating witness. The cooperating witness was not identified in the court papers. The two men are also accused of discussing with the cooperating witness a possible attack on the FBI's field office in Knoxville.
Kelley and Carter made their initial appearance in federal court in Knoxville on Friday. A cooperating witness earlier this week presented authorities with a printed document including about 37 names, positions and in some cases phone numbers of law enforcement personnel involved in the criminal investigation, the filing states. The list also identified which officers were present when Kelley was arrested in May, according to the filing. Marina Medvin, who has been representing Kelley in the Jan. 6 charges, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. More than 850 defendants have been arrested on Jan. 6 charges ranging from misdemeanor parading to felony seditious conspiracy.
A new court filing alleges Kelley obtained a list of over 35 law enforcement personnel who investigated him. Kelley then discussed plans to kill the officials with an acquaintance, the filing alleges. Tennessee resident Edward Kelley, 33, allegedly obtained a list of law enforcement officials and discussed plans, starting December 3, to kill these officials with Austin Carter, 26, and a witness who eventually reported their activities to authorities, the complaint says. The witness then met with Kelley and Carter on December 3 at a park in Maryville, Tennessee, where Kelley discussed plans with both Carter and the witness. On Thursday, three men received prison sentences — one for 12 years — after being found guilty for plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov.
