ET, the yield on the 10-year Treasury was down by over eight basis points to 3.7099%.
The 2-year Treasury yield was last at 3.7315% after falling by around 14 basis points.
U.S. Treasurys slid on Monday as fears about a recession grew after a series of key economic data was released last week.
The data suggested an easing of the labor market, which prompted concerns about a recession.
That came after the Fed earlier in the week left interest rates unchanged and hinted at a September rate cut.
