Pinterest shares rose as much as 5% and closed up 3% on Tuesday after company executives said they expect year-over-year revenue growth to accelerate following a slowdown in 2022 and 2023.
Revenue growth was under 9% last year and analysts are projecting expansion of about 8% this year.
In April, Pinterest announced an advertising partnership with Amazon .
Pinterest stock is up 8% this year, trailing the Nasdaq's nearly 31% gain.
