Read Your Way Around the World is a series exploring the globe through books. I was born in Salvador, in the Brazilian state of Bahia, and lived in the general vicinity until I reached the age of 15. Mii de britanici deţin o a doua reşedinţă în Portugalia şi există o importantă comunitate de imigranţi portughezi în Regatul Unit. Portugalia are relaţii puternice şi cu Brazilia, cu care, în semestrul în care Portugalia a deţinut ultima preşedinţie europeană prin rotaţie, în 2007, a organizat un summit în care s-a decis consolidarea relaţiilor economice şi comerciale. "Deşi este o ţară mică şi la periferia Europei, Portugalia este o fereastră pentru economia globală", susţine Antonio Mendoza.
