Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has admitted to fathering a baby outside of his 21-year marriage. The rock musician, 55, revealed the news in an Instagram statement Tuesday, writing that he's "recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage." A representative for Grohl declined to share any additional comment with NBC News. Grohl did not disclose in his post any additional information about the mother of his newest daughter. The founder of Foo Fighters and former drummer for Nirvana has been married to his second wife, Jordyn Blum, for more than two decades.

The Foo Fighters frontman announced that he recently became a father again, writing in a statement on his Instagram page on Tuesday that his new baby girl was born “outside” of his marriage to his wife Jordyn Blum. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”A representative for Grohl had no further comment beyond the Instagram statement. The rock and roll legend did not share any information about the mother of his new baby girl in his post on Tuesday.
