After recently stepping away from television to focus on his health, Randy Moss shared an encouraging yet shocking update on Friday as the Pro Football Hall of Famer revealed his ongoing recovery from a battle with cancer.
Moss, 47, detailed his diagnosis during an emotional appearance on Instagram Live just a week after ESPN announced the “NFL Countdown” mainstay would be taking an extended leave of absence due to an undisclosed health issue.
And, for that, I thank you all,” he said.
Moss also shared that he previously had a stent inserted into his liver on Thanksgiving due to complications from his condition and that he is still currently set to undergo some radiation and chemotherapy to treat the disease further.
