In his few terms in the House, Gaetz has often been embroiled in controversy. The attorney, John Clune, also called for the release of a House Ethics Committee report detailing the committee’s investigation into Gaetz, which has been ongoing for several years. Thomas, who is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was arrested in Dallas on Tuesday. Some TikTok users claimed to be “Mr Prada victims” and would make videos feigning distress when Thomas would like their videos, according to Know Your Meme. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said it found blood, sharp objects and other weapons in Thomas’ home, according to an affidavit for an arrest warrant. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said “there is no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham.” A motive and relationship are still under investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.

Terryon Thomas, a 20-year-old TikTok creator best known as Mr Prada, has been charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana announced Thursday. The popular Baton Rouge-based online creator was accused of driving the stolen vehicle of 69-year-old therapist William Nicholas Abraham, also of Baton Rouge, who was found dead on the side of a highway near Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, on Sunday. Thomas has been the subject of a social media frenzy after claims that he was involved in Abraham’s death went viral. Authorities are investigating the second incident in a month in which a Jewish student attending the University of Pittsburgh was attacked, possibly motivated by the victim’s religion. The FBI, which is currently assisting University of Pittsburgh Police, said it has opened its own investigation. According to university police, the student was walking off campus early Friday morning when a group of six to eight men assaulted the unidentified victim. A bystander intervened and ended the assault,” Pittsburgh University Police said in a news release in which it described the incident as a “Hate Crime/Assault.”The student’s condition was not immediately clear.
