Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell has apologized to bandmates and fans for “inexcusable behavior,” hours after news broke that the second half of the group’s reunion tour was being canceled after a fight broke out on stage Friday. Navarro was not the first in the Jane’s camp to suggest that Farrell was dealing with serious mental health struggles. CNN —Following a recent on-stage altercation between Jane’s Addiction band members Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro, the rock band has announced the cancellation of their remaining tour dates. On Monday, the band announced in a statement posted to their Instagram page that they’ve “made the difficult decision to take some time away as a group,” therefore canceling the remaining dates of their tour. We hope that he will find the help he needs,” the statement read. Farrell appeared to yell at Navarro, then approach him and hit him before other band members and crew intervened. Jane’s Addiction were set to resume their tour in Toronto on Wednesday after they previously canceled Sunday’s concert in Connecticut due to the scuffle.

Jane’s Addiction apologized to fans for the onstage altercation in Boston that saw singer Perry Farrell throwing a punch at guitarist Dave Navarro and abruptly ending their set. “We want to extend a heartfelt apology for the events that unfolded last night,” the band wrote in its Instagram story. Some fans reported on social media that tension looked to have been brewing for several songs before it got to the point of fisticuffs. The band has reformed several times over the years, usually without Avery, but clearly the tensions have continued. The band’s tour with Love and Rockets is scheduled to conclude in Los Angeles on October 16.

CNN —Rock band Jane’s Addiction has issued an apology and announced the cancellation of their next concert after band members Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell were seen in an on-stage altercation at a recent show. Video footage posted on social media showed Farrell, Jane’s Addiction’s lead singer, confronting guitarist Navarro in the middle of a song during Friday’s concert in Boston. Farrell then attempts to jab Navarro until other band members and crew members intervene, holding Farrell back to separate him from Navarro. CNN has reached out to representatives for Jane’s Addiction, Navarro and Farrell for comment. Jane’s Addiction is currently on tour and is set to perform in Toronto on Wednesday.

CNN —Get ready for a truly stellar and eclectic class of new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees for induction this year. On Saturday, the esteemed music institution announced that Cher, Lenny Kravitz, Sinéad O’Connor, Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne and Mariah Carey are up for the honor, with the official list of inductees to be announced in late April. CNN —As thousands of rockets have rained down on Israel, the country has been relying once again on the Iron Dome system to protect its citizens. The missile defense system is one of the most important tools in Israel’s arsenal and has saved countless civilian lives over various conflicts in the last decade, analysts say. The Israel Defense Forces said the system boasted a 95.6% success rate during a rocket salvo fired by Islamic Jihad in May. After tests in 2008 and 2009, the first Iron Dome batteries were deployed in 2011. The US government has spent over $1.5 billion on the Iron Dome program, and research related to it as well.

The portrait of an underground abortion network pre-Roe v. Wade is obviously timely, but its slightly askew focus blunts the overall impact. Part of that has to do with making Elizabeth Banks’ Joy, a privileged housewife living in Chicago in 1968, the film’s centerpiece, introducing her as being somewhat oblivious to the tumult of the times. Joy initially applies to the hospital board for permission to terminate the pregnancy, only to have her petition dismissively denied by the all-male panel. The sequence slowly and painfully captures the mix of fear and discomfort Joy feels, after her blindfolded trip to the location and the dimly lit room where it happens. The writers clearly intended to personalize the abortion conversation through their Everywoman protagonist, and Banks ably fills that role.
