The Primetime Emmy Awards, which honor the best in American television, were handed out Sunday night in Los Angeles.
“Shōgun,” the historical drama based on James Clavell’s bestselling novel, was one of the night’s big winners, taking home the Emmy for outstanding drama series.
It also won lead acting awards for both Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai.
The Netflix show “Baby Reindeer” won the Emmy for outstanding limited series, anthology or TV movie.
The award show ended with Max show “Hacks” winning the Emmy for outstanding comedy series.
