A senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander warned Israel on Wednesday of "another shockwave" if it doesn't put an end to what the commander described as atrocities in Gaza.
Ali Fadavi was quoted by Iranian news agency Fars as saying, "The resistance front's shocks against the Zionist regimes will continue until this 'cancerous tumor' is eradicated from the world map."
Iran is a major backer of Hamas, which carried out attacks on Israel that left 1,400 people dead.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that officers of the IRGC had worked with Hamas since August to devise the air, land and sea incursions—the most significant breach of Israel’s borders since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
