At a press event on Wednesday, Microsoft is set to unveil several Surface Pro tablets, Surface Laptop models and a Surface Studio 2+ desktop computer, the last of which has not been updated in several years. Sept 27 (Reuters) - Intel Corp (INTC.O) plans to expand the Intel Developer Cloud to allow customers to try a range of new chips before they hit the market, a move it hopes will lure more application developers to use its processors, the company said on Tuesday. Chip companies are increasingly enabling software and hardware developers to test out chips virtually in the cloud before they are shipped to save time. A strong software developer ecosystem is increasingly becoming a competitive edge for semiconductor hardware manufacturers. He said Intel is trying to make the developer cloud easier to use and also trying to hook the next generation of developers to make applications for Intel chips. Cheruvu said young developers face a lot of pain points in understanding the technology and experimenting with them, and that the developer cloud was helping to address some of the issues.

Об этом сообщает Appleinsider, ссылаясь на собственный источник, передает ria.ruТак, тестовая сборка, оснащенная 8-ядерным процессором и 8 ГБ оперативной памяти, набрала 1634 балла (одноядерный тест) и 7220 баллов (многоядерный тест). Для сравнения, топовая конфигурация MacBook Pro, оснащенная процессором Intel Core i9, получила в GeekBench 1096 и 6869 баллов соответственно. Ожидается, что первые Mac c ARM-процессором от Apple покажут 10 ноября. Речь идет о 13-дюймовых MacBook Air и MacBook Pro, а также 16-дюймовом MacBook Pro.
