"AI is core to how we build scalable digital health solutions," Huma CEO Dan Vahdat, told Business Insider.
"It is a challenging environment for digital health companies in general, particularly with the public markets being down," Vahdat added.
The company's $80 million Series D funding round was raised by new and existing investors such as AstraZeneca, Hat Technology Fund 4 by HAT SGR, HV Fund by Hitachi Ventures, and Leaps by Bayer.
