UBS sees stocks rising to new heights in the new year, though not without a brief pullback.
In a note Monday, UBS strategists said they see the S & P 500 rising to 6,400 by the end of 2025.
The iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) has popped 2.6% since the election, outperforming the S & P 500's 1.3% advance.
The S & P 500 financials sector has been on fire since the Nov. 5 vote, up more than 6%.
The S & P 500 traded around 5,900 on Monday, above UBS strategist Jonathan Golub's 2024 target of 5,850 .
