Footage of English football fans singing a player chant in 2016 is being shared online alongside the false claim that it shows Ukrainians celebrating a July 2023 attack on the bridge linking Russia to Crimea.
One version of the clip was uploaded to YouTube on May 20, 2016 (here), where it is titled: “Will Grigg's on Fire - Best Football Chant Ever”.
Other videos show Wigan supporters singing the song in numerous locations (here and here), while the striker himself was recorded singing along to it in 2018 (here).
The alternative lyrics were reported on locally (here and here), while Twitter users also posted about them in March 2016 (here, here and here).
The video shows people singing an English football chant in 2016, not Ukrainians celebrating an attack on a bridge in 2023.
