Gridcog, founded in 2020 in Australia but now headquartered in London, has built a software platform for modeling and simulating renewable energy projects.
It helps customers figure out where best to put solar, energy storage, and EVs, and optimize those plans for commercial and climate goals.
"With energy projects, there can be hundreds or even thousands of ways of building them," said Gridcog's UK and European head Genna Boyle.
Renewable energy capacity needs to double to reach net zero in the energy sector by 2050, per the International Energy Agency.
