A fine against Grand Canyon University is the latest action by the Biden administration that aims to root out misbehavior by institutions connected to the federal student-loan system.

The Education Department ordered the Phoenix-based Christian school to pay a fine of $37.7 million, the largest ever of its kind.
The school, which has an enrollment of more than 100,000 on-campus and online, will also need to comply with a series of special disclosure requirements for the next few years.
