PARIS — Rapper Travis Scott has been arrested following an alleged fight involving a security guard and his own bodyguard at a luxury hotel in central Paris, French authorities said on Friday.
"I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard," the Paris prosecutor's officer said in a statement.
"The security guard had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard.
The George V hotel, near Paris's famous Champs-Élysées and with views of the Eiffel Tower, boasts multiple Michelin-starred restaurants.
Scott was arrested in June on a disorderly intoxication charge after he allegedly yelled at people on a yacht in Miami Beach, Florida.
