A years-old video showing a group of people, some shirtless and with their faces covered, throwing rocks onto a highway in Israel has been miscaptioned online as showing migrants disrupting traffic in Calais, France. They are throwing rocks to stop trucks so that they can jump on board and sneak into Britain” (here) and (here). The Israeli outlet said the video was captured at Gedera interchange (here). The Gedera interchange is a crossroad where Highways 40 and 7 intersect in the town of Gedera, central Israel. The video shows a 2019 protest in Israel over the death of a teenager at the hands of an off-duty police officer.
