This is something I've been looking forward to as I prepare to run my first marathon on November 3. So I consulted Jena Brown, a sports dietitian specializing in endurance racing, who reviewed my plan for the week and suggested improvements. Hurricane Helene ravaged western North Carolina over the weekend, leaving behind a trail of death and devastation.
