The Oscar-winner announced on Tuesday that she’s releasing a new album titled “Harlequin,” which she said in an Instagram post is a companion album to the upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux,” in which she stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix. The album will have 13 tracks, with song titles including, “Good Morning,” “World on a String” and “The Joker,” among the others. CNN —A Los Angeles County Judge ruled Monday that singer Lady Gaga will not have to pay out the $500,000 reward that she promised for her French bulldogs’ safe return following a 2021 dognapping incident. Fraud by false promise and fraud by misrepresentation were also listed in the lawsuit as the basis for damages. McBride is currently on probation for two years after pleading guilty to receiving stolen property of more than $950, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. She was initially charged with one count of accessory after the fact and receiving stolen property, but the accessory after the fact charge was dismissed contemporaneously as part of a plea deal. CNN has reached out to McBride as well as Gaga’s attorneys for comment.

LOS ANGELES — The man involved in the shooting of Lady Gaga's dog walker during a robbery last year was sentenced Monday to 21 years in prison, officials said. James Howard Jackson, 20, pleaded no contest to the attempted murder charge and was immediately sentenced to prison, NBC Los Angeles reported. In August, almost four months after he was mistakenly freed from custody in Los Angeles, Jackson was captured and arrested in Palmdale, a city north of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
