Stars from Hollywood's golden age are being reborn through celebrity estate AI voice cloning deals, a sign of how some of the "Wild West" concerns about unauthorized AI impersonation are being addressed by new business models. Safeguards include active moderation of content, accountability enforceable with bans, and special provisions for safeguarding the impact of AI voice on the 2024 election. Among the current generation of actors, there remains significant anxiety surrounding the use of AI in generating voice content. Voice actors for video games have raised concerns, and last year's film and television strike had significant roots in anxieties over the use of AI. AI voice licensing could alleviate workload for voice actors, he added, without supplanting them, as they "intercede in the process by focusing on offering correction or enhancement to ineffable aspects such as intonation, warmth, and emphasis, which still present challenges."

It's terrible to be clinical after watching horrifying pictures and having real feelings about the tragedy in Israel this weekend. But it is difficult to believe that there will be another embargo when Israel was so clearly not the aggressor. Do you sell American stocks off of something tragic that happens in Ukraine or Israel or to any of our allies? No, it is because we have the ability — good or bad — to focus on what's existential for our country, not for Israel. Cramer said he is impressed with PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta, who he said was able to raise the company's growth rate when few thought it would be possible. It now trades for nearly double that price, and Cramer envisions a possible PepsiCo takeover of the company. "This is no longer the old Pepsi or Frito Lay: The company's done a remarkable job building brand equity. It's no longer, per se, a buyback machine — It's a machine that pours money into global growth markets," Cramer said. "Ramon Laguarta is a fantastic manager who's doing amazing things with Pepsi and Frito Lay that even bulls like me never thought possible."

Due to the limitations that EV truck batteries face in mileage range, they're best suited for drayage transportation, or the movement of goods across short distances. So, trucking companies are making efforts to develop short-haul EV trucks and put them to use at ports and intermodal logistics facilities. How electric trucks navigate long-haul shipping is one of the main issues that the trucking industry faces as it looks to expand EV usage. Performance Team, a subsidiary of shipping giant Maersk, deployed Volvo short-haul EV trucks in Southern California for distribution facilities and warehouses starting last October. Regardless of how these EV trucks are being deployed to lower carbon emissions, the goal is also for them to save the trucking companies money.

Tesla began construction of its first battery factory in Nevada in 2014. Joe Lombardo revealed details about Tesla's plans for expansion in the state early on Monday. Tesla CEO Elon Musk held a ceremony in Nevada in December to kick off deliveries of the company's Tesla Semi to a key early customer, PepsiCo .
