Singapore Airlines has tweaked its in-flight seatbelt sign policies and altered at least one flight route after a turbulence incident this week killed one person and left dozens more hospitalized, according to the airline and flight data. The airline is adopting a more cautious approach to turbulence, including not serving hot drinks or meals when the seatbelt sign is on, it said in a statement to Singapore broadcaster Channel News Asia. “SIA will continue to review our processes, as the safety of our passengers and crew is of utmost importance,” it said. The daily London-to-Singapore route SQ321 has completed two flights since the incident and not flown over the part of Myanmar where the sudden turbulence occurred about three hours before scheduled landing. Hong Kong/New York CNN —Boeing has delivered its first 737 Max to a Chinese airline for the first time in nearly five years, according to flight data, in a rare spot of good news for the embattled company. According to flight tracking website Flightradar 24, China Southern Airlines flight CZ5073 departed from Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington, on Wednesday for China via Honolulu. The use of the airline’s flight number, instead of a Boeing one, suggests the ownership of the plane has already been transferred. The plane, a 737 Max 8 according to flight data, was built in September 2019 and has been parked in Boeing’s Seattle factory since then, according to flight tracking sites Flightradar 24 and Aviation Flights. Lumina Sfântă de la Ierusalim a ajuns, sâmbătă, în jurul orei 20:09, în R. Moldova când aeronava specială trimisă a aterizat pe aeroportul de la Chișinău. Tradiția de a aduce Focul Haric din Ierusalim în R. Moldova a continuat și în acest an. O delegație formată din mai mulți slujitori ai bisericii, purtând măști de protecție, a coborât din avion având candele cu Lumina Sfântă. UPDATE 20:08 Aeronava cu care a fost transportat focul haric a aterizat pe Aeroportul Internațional Chișinău. Focul Haric a fost preluat de la Ierusalim, iar aeronava cu care este transportat a decolat de pe aeroportul de la Tel Aviv și este deja în drum spre Chișinău. Potrivit site-ului de specialitate, FlightRadar.com, focul haric este transportat la bordul unei aeronave de pasageri de tip Airbus A319 a companiei Air Moldova. Reprezentanților aeroportului de la Chișinău, contactați de ZdG, ne-au comunicat că la bordul aeronavei, pe lângă membrii delegației care aduc focul haric la Chișinău sunt și alți pasageri. La 12 aprilie curent, reprezentanților Mitropoliei Moldovei au anunțat că în acest an Focul Haric va ajunge pe aeroportul de la Chișinău „cu suportul companiei Air Moldova”.
