A listing date for Jio Financial Services is widely expected to be announced at Reliance's forthcoming annual general meeting. Ambani said Jio Financial Services wants to provide simple, affordable and innovative digital first solutions. "Jio Financial Services along with its subsidiaries will leverage the technological capabilities of Relianceand digitally deliver financial services, democratising access to financial services offerings for Indian citizens," he said. Reliance has offered its shareholder one share of Jio Financial Services for one share of Reliance.

Indian shares rise ahead of Fed rate decision

BENGALURU, May 2 (Reuters) - Indian shares advanced on Tuesday, aided by broad-based gains across sectors, driven by March-quarter earnings, as investors await the interest rate decision by the U.S. Federal Reserve on Wednesday. The Nifty 50 (.NSEI) was up 0.49% to 18,153.10 as of 9:51 a.m. IST, while the S&P BSE Sensex (.BSESN) gained 0.45%. Twelve of the 13 major sectoral indexes advanced, with the high-weightage financials (.NIFTYFIN) and information technology stocks (.NIFTYIT) rising 0.5% and 1%, respectively. The benchmark Nifty 50 index (.NSEI) rose over 4% in April, its best month since November 2022. Among individual stocks, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd (MMFS.NS) surged 5% after reporting a year-on-year rise in consolidated profit in the March quarter.
Indian jeweller Joyalukkas withdraws $278 mln IPO

BENGALURU, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Indian jeweller Joyalukkas has withdrawn its 23 billion rupee ($277.95 million) initial public offering (IPO), a document on the market regulator's website showed on Tuesday. Joyalukkas did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment. The jeweller, based in the southern Indian state of Kerala, operates showrooms across roughly 68 cities and is one of the biggest jewellery retailers in the country. The IPO's book runners Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Ltd, Haitong Securities India, and SBI Capital Markets Ltd also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
