A judge ruled Friday that a lawsuit against Disney in Florida would proceed.
The case relates to a legal loophole used by Disney to take back control of its operations in Florida.
The park argued that the case is "moot" in state court because of a DeSantis law that voided development agreements Disney signed up to three months before the appointed board was created, PBS reported.
The ruling marks another legal punch in the year-long fight between DeSantis and Disney.
As a result, the newly appointed DeSantis board was stripped of its power.
