REUTERS/Annabelle Chih/File Photo Acquire Licensing RightsTAIPEI, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Foreign investors seem to be undeterred by the possibility that growing tensions between Taiwan and China could precipitate fund outflows from the Taiwan market, the chairman of the Taiwan Stock Exchange told Reuters.
Taiwan Stock Exchange Chairman Sherman Lin said in an interview this was a natural plateau after a rally rather than a sign that foreign funds are fleeing the market.
"We have talked to foreign investors, including from countries such as Japan and Singapore.
"Even with the regular sight of Chinese warplanes flying around, why have foreign investors not left the Taiwan market?"
